Florida Energy Pipeline Association (FEPA) member companies provide safe and reliable pipeline transportation and support services. FEPA is dedicated to sustaining an efficient and reliable transmission pipeline industry in Florida, through member education and information
sharing that emphasizes safety, pipeline integrity, social and environmental stewardship, and cost-competitiveness.

Safety is the number one priority of our business with respect to employees, management, stakeholders and the public. Therefore, FEPA has initiated a program to recognize exceptional safety performance.

One pipeline company employee and one vendor company employee will be recognized each year for their safety performance.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE:

Members will be asked to nominate candidate companies/individuals for exceptional performance based on:

1. communicating to industry an innovative safety topic, lesson learned, or best practice or
2. an individual specific outstanding action impacting others or contributing to enhancement of safety programs

HOW TO NOMINATE:

• Submit a nomination form.
• Member companies are encouraged to provide any supporting documentation.
• The current TRIR of the nominated company is also to be provided as a general indicator of the overall firm safety performance.

SELECTION PROCESS:

The FEPA Executive Committee will review nominations and determine which pipeline company employee and which vendor company employee are selected for the annual award. The award will be presented at the summer symposium. The recipient will receive an award and gift.
